Bear with Present

This week's digital image from Designed2Delight is this bear carrying an awfully large present!
I am also posting this card to the Creative Inspirations Paint blog - this week's challenge is shades of your favorite color. I don't really have ONE favorite color, but I do like blue/turquoise/teal. I happened to have two paint colors that I hadn't tried yet - Sapphire and Turquoise so I used them here. And since I need a masculine card, it was a good color choice and I kept it simple

Love Ya Cupcake

This card was made with an image from Designed2Delight for their current weely digtal image challenge.  I used Creative Inspirations Paint, in Tutu Pink for the hearts. I added even more sparkle with Stickles and Sparklers on and around the icing - Yummy!

challenge #6 Winter

This card has been sitting on my desk all day, waiting for me to assemble it and add a sentiment. I haven't found the perfect one, nor have I decided what I will use this card for, so the sentiment will be added at a later time. I think that's it for me for the challenges this weekend - I just can't get in the crafting groove today - too much else going on!

This card is for NSSS challenge #3 - color challenge - teal, purple and lime. I happened to have the right colors sitting on my desk and wanted to try out this new Spellbinders medallion set. I found it a few weeks ago on clearance at HL - fun find!

another valentine for Challenge #8

Challenge #1

This LO is way out of my comfort zone - I rarely follow sketches, and I very rarely do a one page LO. But I was struggling with what to do with these photos, so here it is! A very loose interpretation of the sketch but I think it works.

I was at M's this morning and remembered that I had this punch, which I love! Had to come home and use it! Kendra - the sentiment is from Wild Card.
This is a double pocket card, from Splitcoast Stampers.

I forget what this one is called, also from SCS.

challenge #5

I used my newest cartridge for these - Create a Critter. I didn't think I would get a lot of use out of it, since my kids are older, but I love it! I really like how this pop out card came out.  I have to try new types of cards for my hubby and kids. They're spoiled! I've given them pop up's, tri-folds, easels...can't make them plain flat cards anymore!

A new challenge

I'm entering this valentine in two challenges.
First is the Creative Inspirations Paints challenge. This week's theme is
texture. I don't know what will show up in the photo, but I embossed the bottom half with
a tiny heart cb folder. I used Garnet Creative Inspirations paints on the hearts. I'm sorry I don't recall
where I got the digital image from, but it's perfect for Valentine's Day!
I will also be entering this card in Danielle's NSSS weekend challenge/crop, challenge #8.

Love Ewe!

The first week of the new digital image challenge at Designed2Delight featured a really cute image! I tried using flock on both of these-the first directly on the white cardstock, the second over a light gray marker. I'm hopoing to make some more valentines with this one.

Cupcake and Roses

I really like this week's digital images from Designed2Delight.
I finally got to try out some Creative Paints that my friend Kendra has been using and recommending.
Thanks, Kendra - now you know I'm going to have to buy more colors!
(The roses and the leaves are painted with the paints, not sure if you can see it in the pictures,
but they really give a nice sheen to the project.
