a quick notecard

I wanted to be sure to participate in Designed2Delight's challeng this week so I made this quick notecard with their cardinal image. My kids' high school mascot is the cardinal and their colors are red and blue, so I'm sure it will come in handy sometime!

This week's image from Designed2Delight could be used for a holiday card or a valentine card - I haven't decided what I will use mine for yet, but it sure is a cute image! I'm glad I found some time to participate in their challenge this week.

I love this image from Designed2Delight. It's simple, yet I can think of so many ways to use it. Because it's the first week of the month, you can get it for free at designed2delight.blogspot.com. You have until Thursday to post a  project using the image and you'll receive the next image for free on Friday! I didn't get a chance to participate last week and was having withdrawals!

Isn't this little guy the cutest? The image is another great one from Designed2Delight. They are really motivating me to keep up with some card making during this crazy busy season!

Kaela

This little angel's name is Kaela, and she's from the Designed2Delight digital stamp of the month challenge for November, week 2. Isn't she cute?

I colored this one with colored pencils and OMS, as my Promarkers are smearing the ink on my digital images, especially when I use light colors as for skin and blonde hair. I think she came out cute, and I enjoyed getting out my pencils again - it's been a long time! I haven't added a sentiment yet, as I"m not sure what I'll use it for - I didn't end up using Christmas colors so we'll see. Sorry the picture is so dark - it's a rainy, dreary day in Columbus, Ohio!

I colored this image from Designed2Delight and put together the card from scraps on my desk - the colors worked out well. I guess I'm hooked on fall colors right now.

Here is a card I made with the final digital image for the month of October from Designed2Delight. I wasn't sure I"d be able to pull this one off. The design team's coloring was so awesome. But I'm starting to get the hang of using my ProMarkers. It will get even easier when my next order comes in and I have lots more colors to choose from! I've had fun playing along with Designed2 Delight's image challenges this month - I hope to keep participating in November.

A 2 page LO that I"m entering in IvaRai's online chat/challenge today, Oct 23rd. Sorry the photo is so crummy - you can't really see the titles, but they were cut with my Cricut and Lyrical Letters.

Here is a card I made using the current week's image from Designed2Delight Digital Stamps. It doesn't show up very well, but the red CS is embossed using my new folder from the Once Upon a Princess companion set of embossing folders. This is a really versatile set - 2 5x7 and 2 A2 size folders.

I did it! Sorry these pictures are so crummy - guess I should have waited until daylight to take them.

I've been wanting to enter one of their challenges for a long time, but never remembered at the right time. They have adorable digital images which they sell on their site, and also give away freebies if you enter their monthly challenges.

Just thought I'd get this set up in case I ever want to post my creations here.
