You Are Mermazing

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a fun slimline shaker card to tell you how Mermazing you are!

The mermaids in the Mermazing stamp and die sets are are so fun to color because there are no rules - you can go crazy! Purple hair? Why not?!

For the frame of my card I used two dies from the Rectangle Slimline Framelits. The wavy "horizon line" was cut with a die from the Wavy Slimline Border Dies.  The waves paper is from the Make Waves collection. I just love these papers for ocean themed backgrounds and more! 

I added some goldfish and other little sea critters from the Sea Horses and Jellyfish stamps and die sets. I created a well with foam tape to fill in with some water colored sequins. I like shaking it around to reveal the little hidden creatures! 

There's even one peeking out from behind this mermaid's tail! 

I know I'll enjoy creating with items from the Making Waves collection of stamps, dies, and papers all summer long!

Sweet Birthday

 Hi Artzy friends-

Today I am sharing a peek at two of our newest products from Dare 2B Artzy.

We have a new fun fold die that I'm having so much fun with! It's called the Center Step Die and I love using the included layers to create fun, colorful cards! 

The cute ice cream eating turtle image is from the Turtley Awesome stamp and die sets. And the yummy looking ice cream sundae, as well as the sweet sentiment is from the new Candy Shop stamp and die sets. The sprinkles patterned paper is from the Ice Cream Social collection.

There are a lot of great images and sentiments in the Candy Shop set. Be sure to also check out the new Bistro stamp set, as well as the Home Sweet Home stamp set. The images from all three of these sets can be cut with the same die set, Little Village dies! Collections  like this really give you a bang for your buck!

The Center Step die makes it easy to make a card that looks great when on display, yet also fits in an A2 envelope for mailing!

May Flowers

 Hi Artzy friends -

I'm so excited that May is here; I am so ready for some consistently nice weather...and flowers!

Speaking of flowers, the challenge this month on the Dare 2B Artzy blog is Flowers! Link up your flowery card and be eligible to win a $15 gift certificate to the Dare 2B Artzy store any time during the month of May. 

For this card I cut a panel of copper colored mirror cardstock with the Quilted Flower Background die and layered it on a piece of blue cardstock. Have you ever tried to photograph a card created with mirror cardstock? It isn't easy!

I colored and cut the floor swag images from the Scandinavian Songbird stamp and die set.

The happy birthday was created using A Single Greeting stamps and coordinating die.

I stamped the wordsmith Versamark and heat embossed them with a copper colored embossing powder to coordinate with the background. 

I think this would make a perfect spring or summertime birthday card!
