Artzy Clubhouse - December 2025

 Hi Artzy friends -

The Artzy clubhouse set this month is called Apres Ski and it's a super cute set that can be used all winter long for any occasion!

I created a birthday center step card using the Center Step die which makes it really easy to create an A2 fun fold card. I love that the card folds flat for mailing in a regular A2 envelope.

The sentiments used are all from the Apres Ski set as well, and the snowy patterned papers are also from Dare 2B Artzy!

Stay warm and thanks for visiting!

Happy Love Day!

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a Valentine's Day card that I created with images and sentiments  from several Dare 2B Artzy products. It was fun looking through my stash to find "all things love!"

I started by stenciling my background with a stencil from the Heart Duo Stencils.
I colored and die cut images from Groovy Van, Good Times Roll, Turtley Awesome, and Candy Shop. I heat embossed sentiments from the same stamp sets, and die cut additional shapes from Square Framelit dies, Rectangle Framelits dies,  Slimline Love Framelits, and Center Step dies.

The fun thing about this card is that I can give it to someone I love on any day - not just Valentine's Day!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Here's to Friends!

Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a center step card featuring the new Dare 2B Artzy Wine Between Friends stamp set.

This stamp set would also be great to celebrate the birthdays of female friends "of a certain age." (Of course I'm including myself in that group!)

I cut the Center Step card base from blue cardstock and I used the Rectangle Fancy Framelit die to cut my image and another layer out of paper from the Summer Breeze 6x6 Paper Pack.

When I remember, I like to decorate the inside of my cards as well.

I cut another fancy rectangle shape from white cardstock and stamped another image and sentiment from the Wine Between Friends set to complete the sentiment from the front of the card.

Thanks for visiting, and have a great day!

Jolly Holiday

Hi  Artzy friends -

I'm winding down my holiday card making and am ready to start addressing envelopes. that's my very least favorite part about sending out holiday cards. I wish I could just keep creating with these cute images and pretty papers from Dare 2B Artzy!

My card is a Center Step Card and my images and sentiments are from the Season to be Jolly stamps and dies sets. The patterned paper is from the Home for the Holidays collection.

The Center Step dies make it easy to make a really impressive card that folds flat for the mail, and stands nicely on display.

I hope your cards are coming along, and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Hot Foiling vs Heat Embossing

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing two similar cards, one using hot foiling and one using heat embossing.

I created my two cards using the Dare 2B Artzy Center Step dies and patterned papers from the Home for the Holidays collection

The tree image on the first card is created with the Joy Christmas Tree hot foil plate, and gold foil.

I used my Spellbinders Glimmer machine and got a perfectly foiled image. The gold foiling is so shiny and pretty!

The tree image on my second card was created with the Joy Christmas Tree stamp set. I stamped the image using Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed it with fine gold embossing powder from GinaK Designs.  The images on both cards were cut with the Joy Christmas Tree die.

The heat embossed image is also pretty, although not quite as reflective as the foiled image. The gold is a warmer tone and there is some texture to the image.

I like the way this image turned out as well; heat embossing will never cease to be magical to me. And it's a great option for those who don't have a hot foil machine or the hot foil plate for an image.
Both techniques can be done in many colors as well, with different colors of foil and different colors of embossing powder available.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

September Challenge - Animals

 Hi Artzy friends -

It's time for another monthly Artzy challenge!

Can you believe September is here already?!

This month's challenge theme is "Animals" and Dare 2B Artzy has a large selection of stamps with animals, most of which are super cute and whimsical! Check out the "Animal Lovers"  category on the website!

I chose to use the Center Step dies to create this cute colorful puppy card. The dog is from the Ruff Day stamp set and is cut out with the Dog die. The paw print border stamp is from the Pet Lover stamp set. I figured this card can be used for just about any occasion, just by adding a sentiment or hand written note inside!
The striped paper background is from the Space Odyssey collection.

I hope you'll join the challenge here on the Dare 2B Artzy blog for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the store! Have fun creating cards with animals this month!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day,

Breezy Blossoms

Hi Artzy friends -

For my blog post today I have two cards created with the same stamp and die set and same framelit dies.

First up is this thank you card. The floral image was stamped, stenciled, and die cut with the Breezy Blossoms collection of products.

I created the green and orange mats with dies from the Oval Scalloped Framelits set. The striped background paper is from the Sweetmobile paper pack. My sentiment is also from Breezy Blossoms and it is stamped on a die cut strip from a die in the Center Step die set.

My 2nd card also features a flower from the Breezy Blossoms stamp and die sets. This time I colored my image with Copic markers.

I cut a window in a piece of paper from the Merry and Bright collection with a die from the Oval Scalloped Framelits set and backed the window with a piece of acetate. I adhered a piece of cardstock that I foiled with the Make Waves hot foil plate and a Solid hot foil plate to my card front. I then popped up my floral window panel on the card, and finally, popped up my flower on the acetate window. I could have added shaker bits inside the window but let like there was already enough going on and they would just be a distraction.

My birthday wishes sentiment is from the Love Grows stamp set, and it is stamped onto a diecut from the Mini Gift Tags die set.

We would love for you to visit the Dare 2B Artzy blog and join in our August challenge! Create a shaped or fun fold card and link it here for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the Dare 2B Artzy store!

Coffee Date

 Hi Artzy friends -

Who wants to go out for coffee? I prefer iced anytime, (iced mocha!), but especially when the weather is in the 90's, as it's been here in Ohio for the past few days!

I created this card inviting a friend to get together using the Center Step die set from Dare 2B Artzy.

I love that this die set makes it so easy to create a fun fold card, that folds flat to fit into an A2 envelope. And it comes with several additional dies that allow you to embellish your card with lots of fun layers!

My image and sentiment are from the Bistro stamp and die sets. The stamp set has some really fun images to color, as well as some really cute sentiments!

The plaid background paper is from the All The Buzz collection.

The challenge for the month of June is Masculine. Link up your masculine themed card here for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the Dare 2B Artzy store

Sweet Birthday

 Hi Artzy friends-

Today I am sharing a peek at two of our newest products from Dare 2B Artzy.

We have a new fun fold die that I'm having so much fun with! It's called the Center Step Die and I love using the included layers to create fun, colorful cards!

The cute ice cream eating turtle image is from the Turtley Awesome stamp and die sets. And the yummy looking ice cream sundae, as well as the sweet sentiment is from the new Candy Shop stamp and die sets. The sprinkles patterned paper is from the Ice Cream Social collection.
There are a lot of great images and sentiments in the Candy Shop set. Be sure to also check out the new Bistro stamp set, as well as the Home Sweet Home stamp set. The images from all three of these sets can be cut with the same die set, Little Village dies! Collections  like this really give you a bang for your buck!

The Center Step die makes it easy to make a card that looks great when on display, yet also fits in an A2 envelope for mailing!
