You Are Mermazing

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a fun slimline shaker card to tell you how Mermazing you are!

The mermaids in the Mermazing stamp and die sets are are so fun to color because there are no rules - you can go crazy! Purple hair? Why not?!

For the frame of my card I used two dies from the Rectangle Slimline Framelits. The wavy "horizon line" was cut with a die from the Wavy Slimline Border Dies.  The waves paper is from the Make Waves collection. I just love these papers for ocean themed backgrounds and more! 

I added some goldfish and other little sea critters from the Sea Horses and Jellyfish stamps and die sets. I created a well with foam tape to fill in with some water colored sequins. I like shaking it around to reveal the little hidden creatures! 

There's even one peeking out from behind this mermaid's tail! 

I know I'll enjoy creating with items from the Making Waves collection of stamps, dies, and papers all summer long!

Silver Bells

 Hi Artzy friends -

Happy November! The time has come to get to work on holiday cards, and today I have a slimline Christmas card to share using some pretty Dare 2B Artzy products.

The Joy to the World stamps and dies are great to use for relatively quick cards as these pretty images require no coloring! They can be stamped with any colored inks you may have, but I chose to heat emboss my bells with silver embossing powder. I love to emboss 2 or even 3 times to create a really dimensional metallic look, like I did here. My sentiment was also embossed in silver.

I also popped my bells up with fun foam, cutting the foam with the coordinating die. I wish you could see the dimension!

The other dies I used to create this card were from the Rectangle Slimline Framelit dies and the Wavy Squares Framelit dies. 

The background paper is from the Merry and Bright collection.

Summertime Friends

 Hi Artzy friends -

Now that (Christmas in) July is over, I am holding on to a little bit of summer with this ocean friends slimline card.

The adorable manatees and the octopus are from the Seas the Day stamps and dies sets.

I cut the 3 background layers with dies from the Rectangle Slimline Framelits set and the Wavy Slimline Framelits set. The blue bubble patterned layer and the red and white striped strip,  (adhered on the inside edge),  are from the Otterly Awesome paper, in the Seas the Day collection. I just love everything in this collection for summertime themed cards!

I thought by adding the word "friends" to my card, I will be able to use this card for so many occasions, by simply adding the appropriate sentiment or note to the inside before mailing. The word stamp is one of 17 individual words in the new A Single Greeting stamp set! They can mixed and matched, or used individually, on all of your cards or scrapbook pages!

Enjoy these last weeks of summer - I know I will!
