Smooth Sailing

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a card made with another brand new stamp and die set from Dare 2B Artzy's new collection!

I also learned a new to me technique for making a slider card - no additional dies or coins needed!

The stamp set is called Set Sail, and I used the sailboat and sea gull images and sentiments from that set.

Clouds are from the Curve Slimline Border dies. I cut the "water" using a die from the Wavy Slimline Border Dies out of paper from the new Coastal Getaway collection.

The little white bands are what the sailboat is attached to; they loop loosely around the sentiment strip allowing the attached image to slide.

Enjoy the Ride

 Hi Artzy friends -

And just like that, it's August 1st! In the "good old days" kids where I grew up didn't have to go back to school until after Labor Day. But now it seems that kids go back earlier and earlier, and summer goes by way too quickly.

Temperatures, however, have been firmly planted in the 80's and 90's for much of the U.S.  So let's squeeze in every bit of summer fun while we can!

My card features a new Dare 2B Artzy set called Water Adventure, and it's full of fun summer images and sentiments, perfect for birthdays and other occasions.

Other Dare 2B Artzy products I used include clouds from the Curve Slimline dies  set, a stitched curvy  border from the Wavy Slimline Border dies, and an older Artzy paper.

I hope you take some time for adventure and to enjoy the ride as summer wanes!

Ready for Winter?

 Hi Artzy friends - 

I'm really not ready for the snow and cold. But it doesn't matter - it's coming whether I like it or not! I may not love winter weather but I do enjoy making winter cards, especially when I have adorable images to create them with!

This cute snowman from the Frosty Hello stamps and dies sets is prepared with his hat, scarf, and warm beverage! The trees and sentiment are from the same set.

My two background layers are cut with the Slim Mini Snowflake Background die set. I used a white glitter cardstock for the snowflake layer. I also cut a snowdrift out of white glitter cardstock using a die from the Curve Slimline Border set (and cut it down to fit on my mini slimline card) My sentiment banner is from the same die set.

Frosty Shaker

Hi Artzy friends -

I have another card to share with you today using the new Frosty Hello stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy  I love the versatility of this set - it can not only be used for holiday cards but also any occasion all winter long.

My little snowman loves catching snowflakes on his tongue, and he's catching them from every angle in this 4 window shaker card. 

I cut 4 windows into my patterned paper from the new Holly Days 6x6 paper pack using a die from the Square Framelit die set.

I stamped and my four snowmen onto a piece of white cardstock, aligning them so would show inside my 4 cutouts. 

I adhered a piece of acetate behind the panel and added foam tape all around the window openings so I could add an assortment of wintery shaker bits into each window. 

I adhered my window panel onto my stamped and colored snowman panel and added a sentiment to a strip cut with a die from the Curve Slimline Border dies set.
