Hello My Crafty Friend Shaker

 Hi crafty friends -

Today I am sharing an edge to edge shaker card, in mini slim size, featuring a Kat Scrappiness word die set.

Edge to edge, or full front shaker cards are an easy way to make shaker cards, with no foam tape, and using any clear packaging you may have saved from stamps, dies, etc. 

The only products and supplies I used for this card are patterned paper, cut with one of these dies, sequins, this die set, and of course - adhesives and cardstock. 

You can find lots of word dies, many with shadows, and mini slimline dies, in the Kat Scrappiness store.

Winter Scene Card

 Hi Crafty friends -

Today I have a quick Christmas card to share with you using Kat Scrappiness dies.

To create this slimline card I first ink blended a background panel with various shades of blue Distress Oxide inks. I cut two die cuts with the Forest for the Trees dies, once with white cardstock and once with kraft. One die cuts the snowdrift with the trees plus the frame so I was able to use the two colors for my card.

I added some touches of Distress ink to the birch trees to give them a more realistic look. I stamped my sentiment and adhered the die cut as well as the kraft frame to my inked background panel.

I cut my trees and the deer using dies from the Crafters Essentials Winter die set. This set also includes snow drifts, and a pretty swirly snowy cut and embossed background die. I glued these elements to my card, and added a few random snowflakes to my background using a white gel pen. 

I hope you enjoyed this pretty winter scene that can be used for any occasion during the season merely by changing the sentiment you use.

Hippo Birdie Mini Slimline

Hi Crafty friends-

Today I want to share my first project as a Kat Scrappiness Influencer.  Kat Scrappiness is an online paper crafting shop that carries supplies from many different brands, as well as their own. From time to time I will be sharing projects I create featuring Kat Scrappiness branded products.

This card is actually remade from an older birthday card I had in my stash with some cute Lawn Fawn images. I cut a blue frame with the largest of the new Reversed Scallop Mini Slimline dies, and I trimmed my card panel down to fit behind it and mounted it on a mini slimline size card base. 

I really enjoy making mini slimline size cards and Kat Scrappiness has two die sets to create mini slimline envelopes. I used the Snail Mail Envelope dies to create an envelope to fit my card out of double sided patterned paper. 

The die set comes with 3 round seal dies, snail mail word dies, a banner die, and a double stitched inside frame die which I used on the front of my envelope as a place to write the address of my recipient.
