A Puppy For Christmas

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I'm sharing my final Dare 2B Artzy holiday card for 2024, and I'm happy to say that this adorable puppy stamp set can also be used for birthdays all year round!

Cindy recently demonstrated how to make a new-to-me fun fold in her D2BA Facebook group that she called a "Tent Easel Fun Fold" and I had to give it a try!

This card is similar to a traditional easel card but it has additional flaps that give you lots of space for decorating with images or just pretty patterned papers.

I used images and sentiments from the Puppy Present stamp and die sets, as well as a combination of holiday papers from a few different years. The classic green/red/white plaid paper is from the current year's Winter Escape collection. 

This is what it looks like opened up flat. I added a little area to sign your name or write a little message. But you could also take advantage of the back side of the card to write a longer note.

Impossible Christmas Card

 Hi Artzy friends -

My card today features new holiday stamps, dies, and papers from the Winter Escape collection.

I created my card with the Impossible Fold Die. While it may look "impossible" creating a card with this die set is super fun and easy, and I love that it includes so many useful extra layers! 

All of the images and sentiments used are from the Christmas Magic and Cabin Retreat stamps and dies sets. The patterned paper is from the Winter Escape collection.

I enjoyed coloring all of the little holiday images and adding a little sparkle here and there. I even experimented on the stocking with an old product in my stash called Sparkly Fluff!

Instagram Hop - Holiday 2024

Dare 2B Artzy is having an Instagram hop this weekend - please hop along and comment on our design teams' beautiful creations using our newest release of holiday stamps, dies, and papers!

My card was created with the new Cabin Retreat stamps and dies.

This set includes lots of wintry images and several holiday and seasonal greetings, for all of your winter time cards.

I used dies from the Oval Scalloped Framelit set to create a bold red frame for my scene. I also cut the same shape out of a pretty plaid paper from the new Winter Escape collection. I popped up the whole frame piece with some thin foam tape to my card base. 

I colored and die cut my images and then...went a little crazy with some glitter! I very rarely use glitter on my cards but when I do I go all out! Who can resist some extra sparkle and shine on their holiday snowy scene cards?!

I heat embossed my sentiment with gold embossing powder (because again - can you ever have too much shine?!) and die cut it with the coordinating die. 

I adhered all of my die cuts with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. I think this will be a perfect card to send to my friends all season long!
