Holiday Instagram Hop

Hi Artzy friends -

I created two little gift boxes that I plan to use for gift cards for my kids for Chanukah, which happens to begin on Christmas this year! How fun is that?!

The boxes were created with the Gift Bag and Box die set out of white cardstock. I used the layering dies included in the set to add D2BA wintery patterned papers.

My images are from the new Smitten stamps and dies sets. This set will be getting a lot of use in my craft room throughout the holidays and all winter long!

Instagram Hop - Holiday 2024

 Hi Artzy friends -

Dare 2B Artzy is having an Instagram hop this weekend - please hop along and comment on our design teams' beautiful creations using our newest release of holiday stamps, dies, and papers!

My card was created with the new Cabin Retreat stamps and dies.

This set includes lots of wintry images and several holiday and seasonal greetings, for all of your winter time cards.

I used dies from the Oval Scalloped Framelit set to create a bold red frame for my scene. I also cut the same shape out of a pretty plaid paper from the new Winter Escape collection. I popped up the whole frame piece with some thin foam tape to my card base. 

I colored and die cut my images and then...went a little crazy with some glitter! I very rarely use glitter on my cards but when I do I go all out! Who can resist some extra sparkle and shine on their holiday snowy scene cards?!

I heat embossed my sentiment with gold embossing powder (because again - can you ever have too much shine?!) and die cut it with the coordinating die. 

I adhered all of my die cuts with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. I think this will be a perfect card to send to my friends all season long!

D2BA Instagram Hop

 Hi Artzy friends -

Just a quick post today, to share my project for this weekend's Dare 2B Artzy Instagram Hop, featuring some of our new products!

This card was created with our new Pop Up die, and it's such a fun die to create with! It can be attached to the front of an A2 sized card, as shown here, or it can serve as a card on it's own! You can even tuck a gift card inside the pull up feature! 

I love how the little turtle image stands up when you pull the tab up, and I also love that you can hide a greeting inside!

Gift Card Holder

Hi Artzy friends -

It's holiday gift giving season! If you're like me, you always need a fun new way to present gift cards.

I give my (adult) children gift cards every year for Chanukah (as opposed to toys and gifts each night when they were younger.) This year Chanukah begins on December 10th so I needed to have a cute simple gift card holder in a hurry! 

This little "basket" will hold several gift cards, or even small treats (Ghiradelli squares anyone?)

I stamped the adorable snowman image from the Toboggan Fun stamp set on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.  I then die cut the image with one of the Rectangle Fancy Framelit dies. I stamped the Happy Hanukkah sentiment from the SHELLom Turtle stamp set. I believe this set is discontinued but it can still be found on the Dare 2B Artzy website in the clearance section! This is one of the very first Dare 2B Artzy stamp sets I ever purchased because it was so cute and unique!  I added some GinaK Crystalline Drops (like Stickles) for a little added shimmer on the snowmen's accessories and set it aside to dry.

I then created the 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" holder with a piece of 7" x 5 1/4" paper from the Snow Much Fun collection, as well as a handle from an 8" x 1/2" strip of coordinating cardstock. 

I assembled the basket, and adhered the completed image, as well as a pretty little gem.

Now I just need to make 2 more holders and purchase all of the gift cards for my gifts!
