Christmas Magic

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today we are having an Instagram hop to showcase some new holiday products from Dare 2B Artzy.

My card features images from the Special Delivery stamps and dies sets.

My background paper is from the new 6x6 Festive Prints paper pack.

I also used one of my old favorites - the Trellis Die. 

I mounted my main image on a vellum die cut from the Oval Scalloped Framelits.

I added a little sparkle and dimension with Stickles for my snow, and red enamel accents for the berries.

I think I will be reaching for this stamp set frequently throughout the holiday season!

Words Cannot Espresso...

 Hi Artzy friends -

It's been a while since Dare 2B Artzy came out with a new coffee themed stamp set and this one, called Brewed With Love is so pretty, and I love the unique sentiments that are included! 

I created my background with one of the stamps in this set, plus an individual coffee bean stamp from the Bistro stamp set. 

I used dies from the Oval Scalloped framelits dies, in white cardstock and gingham (from the Countryside Florals paper collection) to showcase my coffee cup image. The sentiments in this set have coordinating dies which I love!

Stamptember 2024 Collaboration

 Hi Artzy friends -

It's the day we've been waiting for all month long - the day our special collaboration with Simon Says Stamp becomes available for purchase!

I created 3 fall tags using the images and sentiments in this set, called Sunshine.

My shaped tags were created with either the Oval Framelit Dies or the Oval Scalloped Framelit Dies. The sentiments were stamped on a tag die included in the Mini Gift Tags Dies set.

Patterned Paper layers were cut from the Artzy Everyday Prints 6x6 Paper Pack .

Instagram Hop - Holiday 2024

 Hi Artzy friends -

Dare 2B Artzy is having an Instagram hop this weekend - please hop along and comment on our design teams' beautiful creations using our newest release of holiday stamps, dies, and papers!

My card was created with the new Cabin Retreat stamps and dies.

This set includes lots of wintry images and several holiday and seasonal greetings, for all of your winter time cards.

I used dies from the Oval Scalloped Framelit set to create a bold red frame for my scene. I also cut the same shape out of a pretty plaid paper from the new Winter Escape collection. I popped up the whole frame piece with some thin foam tape to my card base. 

I colored and die cut my images and then...went a little crazy with some glitter! I very rarely use glitter on my cards but when I do I go all out! Who can resist some extra sparkle and shine on their holiday snowy scene cards?!

I heat embossed my sentiment with gold embossing powder (because again - can you ever have too much shine?!) and die cut it with the coordinating die. 

I adhered all of my die cuts with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. I think this will be a perfect card to send to my friends all season long!

Floral Birthdays

Hi Artzy friends -

I have two birthday cards to share with you today, using  florals from the Beautiful Inside stamp and die sets. While this set does contain a happy birthday sentiment, I chose to use the script one from the Beauty of Nature stamp and die sets, embossed in gold and silver.

On the first card I mounted my flower on vellum cut with an Oval Scalloped framelit die. My background is the Botanical Background die, cut from shiny gold foil cardstock.

The floral image on my 2nd card is mounted on vellum cut with a Double Dot Circle framelit. My background is the Quilted Flower background die cut from gray cardstock and backed with shiny silver foil cardstock. 

I'm always happy to be able to add to my stash of birthday cards quickly and easily, and beautifully!

Breezy Blossoms

Hi Artzy friends - 

For my blog post today I have two cards created with the same stamp and die set and same framelit dies.

First up is this thank you card. The floral image was stamped, stenciled, and die cut with the Breezy Blossoms collection of products.

I created the green and orange mats with dies from the Oval Scalloped Framelits set. The striped background paper is from the Sweetmobile paper pack. My sentiment is also from Breezy Blossoms and it is stamped on a die cut strip from a die in the Center Step die set.

My 2nd card also features a flower from the Breezy Blossoms stamp and die sets. This time I colored my image with Copic markers. 

I cut a window in a piece of paper from the Merry and Bright collection with a die from the Oval Scalloped Framelits set and backed the window with a piece of acetate. I adhered a piece of cardstock that I foiled with the Make Waves hot foil plate and a Solid hot foil plate to my card front. I then popped up my floral window panel on the card, and finally, popped up my flower on the acetate window. I could have added shaker bits inside the window but let like there was already enough going on and they would just be a distraction.

My birthday wishes sentiment is from the Love Grows stamp set, and it is stamped onto a diecut from the Mini Gift Tags die set.

Christmas Tags

Hi Artzy friends - 

Dare 2B Artzy has some unique  nested shape dies that make great tags!

Both tags feature ornaments from the Deck the Halls stamp and die sets. I colored the ornaments with Copic markers and added some detail with Sakura Glaze pens to add a little shine.  The background papers are part of the Merry and Bright collection.

The Happy Holidays stamp is included in the Reindeer Games stamp set, and is stamped on the smallest die in the Rectangle Framelits die set.

The first tag base was created with 2 sizes of the Oval Scalloped Framelits dies.

My second tag base was created with 2 sizes of Rectangle Fancy Framelits dies.

Shaped Birthday Card

 Hi Artzy friends -

For today's post I created a birthday card using the Oval Scalloped framelits, along with some new images and papers.

To create this shaped card, I folded a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"  cardstock in half. Then I cut my card base with the largest the oval scalloped dies (which is 5 3/8" x 4"), arranging the die hanging over the folded edge a bit, so it wouldn't cut out the complete oval. I then cut another of the largest oval out of teal cardstock, and attached it the front of card, hiding the "flat" top edge of the oval.

I colored and die cut my birdie image from the Scandinavian Songbird stamps and dies, and stamped a sentiment from the set onto a sentiment banner cut with a die from the Slim Mini Wavy Layers dies. I cut the next smaller size scalloped oval out of paper from the Merry and Bright collection, which includes beautiful seasonal patterns as well as year round florals and other patterns.

I completed my card by add another sentiment banner to the inside, finishing off the sentiment, and added a flower from the Joyful Robin stamp and die sets.  

The images and sentiments in the Scandinavian Songbird and Joyful Robin sets mix and match perfectly, and coordinate beautifully with the Merry and Bright paper collection!

Creating shaped cards using framelit dies is so fun and easy, yet makes a big impact! And this one fits in a standard A2 envelope for easy mailing!
