Today I have a card that comes together quickly, with the use of stencils. Stencils are a great way to color in your images when you don't feel like, or don't have the time for, coloring with markers or other media.

This Horizontal Center Step  card is perfect for Mother's Day, or any other spring or summer occasion. 

I colored the three floral images from the Breezy Blossoms stamp set with the Breezy Blossoms stencil, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Papers are from the Countryside Floral collection.

Happy Thanksgiving!

 Hi Artzy friends -

Thanksgiving is one week from today here in the U.S. so I thought I'd share a non Christmas card!

I created my background using one of the Dare 2B Artzy Heart Duo Stencils. It was so quick and easy to apply three colors of Distress Inks with the Picket Fence Studios Paper Pouncers. Paper Pouncers are the best tool to use with delicate stencils like these, in my opinion.

My floral image is from the Breezy Blossoms stamps and dies, and colored with the Breezy Blossom stencil.

My sentiments are from the Grateful Layered Word Dies and Grateful stamp set.

Fall Gift Box

 Hi Artzy friends -

Have you seen the Dare 2B Artzy Gift Bag & Box dies? This die set is going to get a lot of use around here through the fall and winter, and all year long!

I made this little fall themed gift box using papers from the Everything is Blooming collection.

Even the tag and the "for you" is included in the Gift Bag & Box die set, and there are several styles of bags and boxes you can make, along with lots of different options for embellishments! All of the assembly instructions are on the package and you can find videos of easy to follow directions as well.

I added the floral image from the Breezy Blossoms stamps and dies. This whimsical blossom was colored with the coordinating stencil. 

I plan to fill this little box with fun treats for an upcoming birthday for someone special!

Step Panel Card

 Hi Artzy friends -

A step panel card is a 3D fun fold that is simple to create but it packs a big punch when created with beautiful patterned papers. The other cool thing about it is that it folds flat to fit in an A2 envelope (You could make it in other sizes as well.) and stands up nicely on display. 

Here are the dimensions I used for this card:

1 - Start with card base cut to 11" x 4 1/4" and score at 1/2, 2" 4", and 5 1/2"

2 - Cut 2nd panel to  3" x 5 1/2" and score at 1/2" and 2"

3 - Adhere patterned paper to each section as desired.

4 - Assemble panels and embellish.

I decorated my card with papers from the Everything is Blooming collection.

My large floral image is from the Breezy Blossoms stamp and die sets, and is colored in using the coordinating Breezy Blossoms stencil. The sunflower image is from the the Potted Posies stamp and dies sets; and the sentiment is from the Love Grows stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a banner from the Slim Mini Wavy Layers dies, and I added little heart embellishment from the Groovy Party Enamel Stickers.

Dare 2B Artzy 2022 Favorites

 Hi Artzy friends -

It's time for my annual "Favorites" post!

Dare 2B Artzy came out with lots of great stamps, dies, and papers this year and I want to share a few of my favorite cards from the past year with you today.

First up is a slimline shaker card featuring the Mermazing stamps and dies sets.

These mermaids are fun to color and coordinate with the Make Waves paper collection.

My next favorite was a holiday card I made as part of a Christmas in July themed challenge.

This card is a mini slimline card created with the Slim Mini Snowflake dies and the trees are from the Deck the Halls stamps and dies. I'll take any excuse to make a rainbow card! 

This Purse Gift Card Holder is a recently released die set that I have already found many uses for! It's so cute and clever, and fun to create with all of your different Dare 2B Artzy papers, like the new in 2022 Everything is Blooming collection.

I completed my project with a flower from the Breezy Blossoms stamps, dies, and stencil, and a tag from the Mini Gift Tags die set.

The holiday release in 2022 included this adorable snowman from the Frosty Hello stamps and dies sets.

I created this mini slimline card and matching envelope featuring the snowman, along with the Slim Mini Envelope die set and papers from the Holiday Magic collection.

The Reindeer Games set is an oldie but a goodie and he looks so cute on this Pop Up Feature card!

Breezy Blossom Birthday

 Hi Artzy friends -

I can't seem to get enough of the whimsical  Breezy Blossoms stamps and dies! And hot foiled backgrounds are one of my other new obsessions! Together I think they make a really pretty card!

I colored two of the floral images with Copic markers and die cut them with the Breezy Blossoms dies.  I created a background panel with the Make Waves hot foil plate. All that shine makes me so happy!

I die cut my hot foiled background panel with a dotted rectangle die that comes with the Leaf Background die set. 

My sentiment is from the Scandinavian Songbirds stamp set. 

My images and sentiment were popped up on my background and this cheery card was complete!

Breezy Blossoms

Hi Artzy friends - 

For my blog post today I have two cards created with the same stamp and die set and same framelit dies.

First up is this thank you card. The floral image was stamped, stenciled, and die cut with the Breezy Blossoms collection of products.

I created the green and orange mats with dies from the Oval Scalloped Framelits set. The striped background paper is from the Sweetmobile paper pack. My sentiment is also from Breezy Blossoms and it is stamped on a die cut strip from a die in the Center Step die set.

My 2nd card also features a flower from the Breezy Blossoms stamp and die sets. This time I colored my image with Copic markers. 

I cut a window in a piece of paper from the Merry and Bright collection with a die from the Oval Scalloped Framelits set and backed the window with a piece of acetate. I adhered a piece of cardstock that I foiled with the Make Waves hot foil plate and a Solid hot foil plate to my card front. I then popped up my floral window panel on the card, and finally, popped up my flower on the acetate window. I could have added shaker bits inside the window but let like there was already enough going on and they would just be a distraction.

My birthday wishes sentiment is from the Love Grows stamp set, and it is stamped onto a diecut from the Mini Gift Tags die set.

Purse Gift Card Holder

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a gift card holder that I made for a friend using the new Purse Gift Card Holder dies, along with some other new dies, stamps, stencils and papers, and some older but so cute sentiment stamps!

I created my purse using papers from the Everything is Blooming collection. The Breezy Blossoms stamps, stencil and dies coordinate beautifully with this paper. I stenciled a flower image from the set, die cut it, and popped it up on my purse front.

I love that the purse gift card holder dies are designed to pull up a little pocket to tuck your gift card in (or a little note, etc), yet it's so easy to put together!

I added two little tags from the new Mini Gift Tags die set, and created little "faux shaker tags" by cutting a frame and layering it on top a solid tag die cut, with a piece of acetate between them. The sentiments are from the Pet Lover stamp set and worked perfectly for my gift!

Beautiful Day

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a slimline card created with some fun new Dare 2B Artzy products.

Most of us know that for many Dare 2B Artzy stamp and die sets, there is paper that also coordinates and you can cut many of the images right out of the paper - no stamping, no coloring, easy peasy!

Now we have another product to add to the Breezy Blossoms images that make an additionalway to create a beautiful card with no coloring! Check out the Breezy Blossom Stencil! Dare 2B Artzy has made it easy to line up and rotate the stencil with your stamped images to create these fun florals in any colors you like! 

I die cut the images twice, once out of fun foam, and mounted my stenciled images on the foam to add dimension to my card.

The patterned paper, cut with a die from Wavy Slimline Framelit dies, is from the new Everything is Blooming paper collection.

My sentiment is from another new stamp set, Love Grows.
