Smooth Sailing

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a card made with another brand new stamp and die set from Dare 2B Artzy's new collection!

I also learned a new to me technique for making a slider card - no additional dies or coins needed!

The stamp set is called Set Sail, and I used the sailboat and sea gull images and sentiments from that set.

Clouds are from the Curve Slimline Border dies. I cut the "water" using a die from the Wavy Slimline Border Dies out of paper from the new Coastal Getaway collection.

The little white bands are what the sailboat is attached to; they loop loosely around the sentiment strip allowing the attached image to slide. 

Do your summer plans include any time on the water? It's my favorite place to be!

Lemon Twist

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am excited to be able to share my first card using some of the new Dare 2B Artzy collection of stamps, dies, and papers. The collection is called Coastal Getaway and it's so pretty and summery.

I made a card using the interactive Pop Up Feature die, and images and sentiment from the Lemon Twist stamp and die sets.

The patterned papers are from the Coastal Getaway collection. These papers are so beautiful; I'm sure I will be using them on many of my summer cards.

It's been a while since I've made a card using this pop up feature - I almost forgot how easy it is to make such a fun impactful card!

You are Amazing

 Hi Artzy friends -

Today I have a card that comes together quickly, with the use of stencils. Stencils are a great way to color in your images when you don't feel like, or don't have the time for, coloring with markers or other media.

This Horizontal Center Step  card is perfect for Mother's Day, or any other spring or summer occasion. 

I colored the three floral images from the Breezy Blossoms stamp set with the Breezy Blossoms stencil, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Papers are from the Countryside Floral collection.

Artzy Clubhouse - April 2025

 Hi Artzy friends -

April's Clubhouse set is here and it's making me long for summer days on the beach!

I created this beachy card using images and a sentiment from the new stamp and die set called Beach Life. The "shellabrate" sentiment is from the older Seas the Day stamp set. 

 For the background I used a stencil from the Circle Duo Stencils to create the illusion of ocean waves. And I created a sandy beach with Brutus Monroe's Sand Castle embossing powder.

April Showers

Hi Artzy friends -

It is finally beginning to feel like spring, and I'm hoping all of the spring showers will soon bring May flowers and warmer days! 

In the meantime, I'm going to pull on my rain boots and splash in some puddles! OK - those who know me know that I won't really do that! I'd rather stay inside and craft! 

I created this little shaker card with the Dare 2B Artzy Singin' in the Rain stamps and dies, and the Double Dot Framelit Circle dies. 

I own several sets of circle dies, but these from Dare 2B Artzy are honestly my favorite and most-used. I love that they have the double row of stitching detail, and are the perfect size to nest and create a round frame.

Perk Up

 Hi Artzy friends -

I have seen some signs of spring here in Ohio, and I'm hoping it won't be long before it's here to stay. These cooler rainy days we're in the midst of are threatening to bring me down, but the promise of spring flowers and a delicious cup of (iced!) coffee will always perk me up!

I created this card with  Slim Mini Flower Patch dies and Brewed With Love stamps and dies, and a few Everyday Sparkle Enamel Stickers.

Words Cannot Espresso...

 Hi Artzy friends -

It's been a while since Dare 2B Artzy came out with a new coffee themed stamp set and this one, called Brewed With Love is so pretty, and I love the unique sentiments that are included! 

I created my background with one of the stamps in this set, plus an individual coffee bean stamp from the Bistro stamp set. 

I used dies from the Oval Scalloped framelits dies, in white cardstock and gingham (from the Countryside Florals paper collection) to showcase my coffee cup image. The sentiments in this set have coordinating dies which I love!

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Hi Artzy friends -

I love when a stamp set includes a birthday sentiment because I always need a few birthday cards ready in my stash! These yummy dessert images and sentiments are from the Simply Sweet stamps and dies. There are several other great sentiments in this set too, most with dies to cut them out!

Patterned papers are from the Countryside Floral paper collection and are having me dreaming and hoping that spring and summer are on the way!

Here's to You!

Sometimes  a single image is all you need to make a "wow" card.  This image from Wine Between Friends was all I needed to create a birthday card that is appropriate for just about anyone.

An easel card is a quick and easy fun fold card that lends itself perfectly to showcasing a large focal point image like this one, and no dies are necessary!

Papers are from the Summer Breeze Paper Pack and the Countryside Floral collection.

An easel card stands up nicely on display and of course, I've included a spot inside for a personal greeting, using dies from Rectangle Framelits dies

Happy Love Day!

 Hi Artzy friends - 

Today I am sharing a Valentine's Day card that I created with images and sentiments  from several Dare 2B Artzy products. It was fun looking through my stash to find "all things love!"

I started by stenciling my background with a stencil from the Heart Duo Stencils.

I colored and die cut images from Groovy Van, Good Times Roll, Turtley Awesome, and Candy Shop. I heat embossed sentiments from the same stamp sets, and die cut additional shapes from Square Framelit dies, Rectangle Framelits dies,  Slimline Love Framelits, and Center Step dies.

The fun thing about this card is that I can give it to someone I love on any day - not just Valentine's Day!

Here's to Friends!

Hi Artzy friends -

Today I am sharing a center step card featuring the new Dare 2B Artzy Wine Between Friends stamp set.

This stamp set would also be great to celebrate the birthdays of female friends "of a certain age." (Of course I'm including myself in that group!) 

I cut the Center Step card base from blue cardstock and I used the Rectangle Fancy Framelit die to cut my image and another layer out of paper from the Summer Breeze 6x6 Paper Pack.

When I remember, I like to decorate the inside of my cards as well. 

I cut another fancy rectangle shape from white cardstock and stamped another image and sentiment from the Wine Between Friends set to complete the sentiment from the front of the card.

Happy New Year!

 Hi Artzy friends -

I hope you've all had a wonderful holiday season and a happy beginning to 2025!

Today I am sharing a card created with the new Here's to You stamp set.

I made a Happy New Year card but you can use it for birthdays, anniversaries, and any other celebrations you want!

This card is a Pop-up card, made using the Pop Up Feature die set, as well as some other dotted rectangle dies. 

Pulling up on the tap reveals two surprises - the fireworks image and sentiment beneath...

as well as the clinking champagne glasses inside!

And of course, the champagne bottle pops up!

This die is so well designed; it's easy to make this cool card design, and it folds flat and fits in an A2 envelope. You can also attach it to an A2 card base if you'd like more room to write  your personal note inside.
